Date: 2008-07-02 10:02 am (UTC)PS: (this is probably a bit cheeky) - but I would love to know how you achieve some of those effects. I know you use a different program to me but I'm just so curious - especially the one where (I know I won't describe this very well) the colour is "overblown" - as it very bright for a sec. I can't figure out if it's a transition of some sort or an effect on the clip. Does that make sense? Equally, I'm totally cool if you don't!)
Excellent vid - as usual hun.

Date: 2008-07-02 12:37 pm (UTC)Haylock rec`d it? Wow, cool)) Yeah, i haven`t heard of it either till
Oh, don`t worry, hun, i`m always glad to teach somebody something ^^ The thing you told about is not an effect, it is something i use LIKE an effect, but it`s not like basic thinng in the program.
I work in Sony Vegas *i thoguh you use this stuff too oO* And i can make a screencap or somthing, cause i`m pretty bad at explanations. I can make sorta lesson on SVS or something, just tell me what`s better for you :)
It`s pretty easy so it won`t take much time to learn it ;)

Date: 2008-07-02 12:59 pm (UTC)But don't go to any trouble hun! If screen capping is easy for you then that would be awesome - but I don't want it to be any trouble .I just can't help but be curious

I`m not sure about the names of the effects, i just show you how i do it, ok? If you don`t mind, i show you how i do this glowy effect with the slow-motion, cause i think it`s very effective =)
So, here`s the screencaps.
1. Put the clip on the timeline, and then cut the part where you want to start slow-motion.
2.Then click ctrl+left mouse buttom and drag the clip to the right to make it sloooooower =)
3.Then go the the end of the clip and cut 1 frame from it. Usually i cut 1, but you can cut 2 - it depends on the effect and on you ;)
4.For this ONE frame use the glow effect - i don`t know if you have, or, if you do where it is, but it`s called "Glow", and make this one frame VERY glow =)
5.Then click left mouse buttom and drag this frame to the left and make this crossfade transition. We do it because we want soft transition from the "normal" clip to the glowy one.
6. Voiala, we have the clip =)

Thanks SO much for sharing this.
