The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.
Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.
Off till Sunday. Much love friends.

Re: hahahahaha
Date: 2009-11-03 06:27 pm (UTC)The effect is motion blur. If you watch my videos (which you do lol) you could see it in many many other vids I made. It's pretty simple but really effective thing, especially if you want to make your vid softer or something like that. To start working with motion blur just hit ctrl+shift+alt+B (as I remember) and new extra video layer will appear. Then right click - insert motion amount or something like that, then new purple-ish line will appear. By clicking on it new dots will appear and with putting those dots on different heigth you can regulate the amount of motion blur. Just play with it really ;)
And thank you so much! I really appreciate your words hon :)

I really don´t remember have seen a vid of yours and see that effect, but you say it, so maybe I didn´t pay attention to that! :O

I did that and that "video layer" don´t appear. but wait. I need to tell you something, what is that??!! hahahah, before write this, I read the manual to find it, but in the manual didn´t found anything about " vide layer"
and so, that motion blur is not an effect that you just drag to the timeline? you have to create it?
With you, I am starting to read the manual because I need to understand what you mean, for example that thing of "mask" I didn´t know what tha was, and until today I get it, you know, read 456 page from the manual is not a good time to spend. but some tiemes it is needed :O I hate read the manual, because looks like that they complicate my life and I don´t get them easily but some times I need to, and I think as the manual is very easy to read and it give you so much examples and the good thing is that the examples are graphic is very understandable and very helpful. but still. I need you help with that what is a "vide layer?"
Re: :OD
Date: 2009-11-05 07:44 am (UTC)you have to create it?
Kind of. But creating it is very easy and fast, and you just need to play around with it :)
Oh, and sorry fr all the terminology...It's just cause I'm used to words like that, like "mask", "layers" and stuff, and I don't know how much of this you do and know and you don't. So if you don't understand anything, just ask ;)
Manuals are boring :\ Have you tried searching for tutorials on YouTube? There's a lot of tuts for the beginners, and it takes like 10-15 minutes of watching the tutorial to know all the basics of the program. I mean, it's faster and more interesting.
Oh, and "vide layer" was my mistake. VideO layer. It's just a layer on timeline where you put your videos - clips and cuts. Audio layer - is where you put your song on the timeline ;)
:D:D:D:
Date: 2009-11-05 06:01 pm (UTC)Ohhh no no no use the terminology, because in that way you help me to understand the program. I mean, if I want to use it, I have to know what is a fade what is mask, layer, so go ahead! when I am reading the manual I learn too what means everything. so if one wants to learn to use something have to adopt the terminology of that program, right?
Oh yeah! in fact one of the effects that nisha used in one of her vids didn´t know how to do it, she told me it how but i couldn´t do it, until i look for that effect on youtube and knew what was the problem. and the other I was looking for more things, but i have forgot to look for more. but as you have some great effects for that I ask you, for that special efffects :D
oh no no you wrote " video layer" that was mi mistake. but what I didn´t get is what is a a "video layer" because before I have sent this comment I look it up at the manual but didn´t find anything. about " video layer" but you just told me what is it and still don´t get it-. why???
because I haven´t see a layer, I know there is the timeline where you "put" your vids and the audio, but then, from where you get a layer? I look in the manual and does not exist the word " layer" I just use the version 8 and didn´t found the video layer either. so, what I am doing wrong? ¡ please not desperate with me! I already look in the tutorial on the program in the manual and didn´t find "layer" and either " motion blur" found in the 8 version :O

Re: :D:D:D:
Date: 2009-11-05 06:17 pm (UTC)Erm...I don't know how else to explain what video layer is :\
You put te video on timeline, and layer creates automatically. Same wit audio. Or you just can rigt-click on te left side of te timeline and click "create a new video\audio layer" and just see what happens.
I really don't know what's written in those manuals, because I never thought tey're any useful. I prefer learn the program by myself, or by the tutorials, because everything is more clearer there.
