well, after making vids for a while I can say that everything is a matter of practice. As well as in any other thing you start. So just do what you want to - it can be vids with bugs, but with time you'll learn how to get rid of them ;)
The effect is motion blur. If you watch my videos (which you do lol) you could see it in many many other vids I made. It's pretty simple but really effective thing, especially if you want to make your vid softer or something like that. To start working with motion blur just hit ctrl+shift+alt+B (as I remember) and new extra video layer will appear. Then right click - insert motion amount or something like that, then new purple-ish line will appear. By clicking on it new dots will appear and with putting those dots on different heigth you can regulate the amount of motion blur. Just play with it really ;)
