Wow ... that is really stunning and dramatic. There are several impressions I get:

1. This is reminiscent of Dean being "raised from perdition" by Castiel.

2. Dean dying (a sacrifice?) to stop Lucifer

3. Lucifer merging with Dean

Dean reminds me a lot of Buffy at the end of season 5, jumping into a light in order to save the world and (more important) their younger sibling who's kinda doomed and has the power to open a door to hell, all that involving blood.
