So, this IS actually a new video which I finished just yesterday. Since it's sunday and since I wanted to share some good emotions with you all, I decided to post it.
This is something new for me in all senses, I've never made a video for such song, I never made something like this story before. And be prepared to fast-paced editing, because there's a lot of cuts and clips, and overall this while thing turned out pretty fast *roll eyes*
But anyway, I hope you like it and smile? A little? :)

Actually, in this video there’s some sort of a story. Yeah, shuddup xD
So, Jensen likes Jared, not knew. Jared thought it’s all wrong and they can’t and…yeah, not knew either. But even Jared can’t resist the feeling :wink:
In this video I tried to combine the real videos, like interviews, gag reel and behind the scenes video, and the tv show as itself. There’s one scene, when Jensen falls asleep on Jared’s shoulder, and then this is Jared who wakes up and finds Dean looking for him. Jared, who Dean think is Sam, tries to explain to him who they really are and that this is a fiction, not real life and blah-blah…Something familiar, don’t you think? :D Anyway, then they are woken and actually after this Jared understand that maybe it all not SO wrong as he though it was.
Fin, end credits.
Anyway, you can watch this video and not think about all this “AU story stuff”, just enjoying the boys =)

I liked the vid and I liked the idea, but I think you had this big idea and the vid couldn't fit the whole idea, it's like you needed to make two parts of the vid or two different vids.

Sometimes the images were confusing, it's like you were waiting for them to show their real emotions towards each other and they were just being dorks. It's like the idea was hiding behind all these images, and I couldn't get through the vid to see it.
The scene with Jared/Dean made it even more confusing.

I hope I didn't hurt your feelings, coz I know you want to make not the regular vid, not just the funny pictures to look at, you're trying to deliever the best vid you can, and I know your can do this vid much better.

Hm, maybe you're right. I didn't think about it, but I knew that this "dream" thing is a twisted idea, and maybe I couldn't work it out right.

Maybe you expect this video to be more serious than it is? I don't know, maybe I should've made it more serious, but I just couldn't I guess.

Anyway, this vid was like a first try or something, I guess I didn't know what exactly I wanted to show in this vid, and that's why it turned out confusing for you.

And maybe I should take this vid as it is, but I remembered your vids that left me crazy and itchy, and I guess I wanted to have the same feeling.

Thank you) I'm glad that you can actually see the difference between my good videos and not so. Not too many people tell me that, and I know that not too many people compare my vids to each other.

I'm glad that there ARE videos that, as you said, left you crazy and itchy, I'm really happy I managed to make them that good. *sits happy*

Okay, the last one that got me crazy was 'Let Me Go'.
It's such a powerful vid, it always leaves me a bit shattered.
'Real' (I call it Kim's tribute thought it's more than that) is outstanding.
'On The Darkest Side Of The Sun' I love for exploring the characters.
'here With Me' touches me, emotionally. And there are some editing that I love.

Yeah, I know Let Me Go really got you. But still don't know why lol When I was making it, I thought like "what am I doing? Angels? Demons? Who on earth will buy it?.." But then again, I liked this whole thing, this borthers' confrontation, so I glad you actually saw what I wanted to show in that vid *hugz*

It actually IS. Though I started it not even thinking about adding Kim in the end, I'm glad I thought about it. I think it was right.

Oh, On the darkest side of the sun was something pretty new for me at that time, and I really liked the editing here, I tried a few new editing things in that vid, wich I'm pretty proud of. And when I was making Sam's black eyes.....*g* Best moment eva lol

Here with me is one of my favorite vids too, because of its simplicity and at the same time because of its complexity. Those 4 months were the worst for Sam, and I tried to capture it in that vid. Besides, I loved the song from this video, it accociates for me with Sam.

*g* I can talk about my vids a lot too :D Especially with people, who axtually SEE them, not only watch ;)

It is a manip because I recognize Sam from the pilot-the scene where they are at the diner talking to the gf of the victim. But the Dean part I don't know what it's from.

I really liked this one. I decided to watch first, then read your comments as to the motivation, direction and all. (That's a new way I've started watching vids)
Watching it that way, I saw it as a glimpse inside Jensen's head. Him trying to reconcile how he feels for Jared, with how Dean feels for Sam and the line is blurred, confused. Jared is sending signals they are close friends(only) but Jensen feels something more.
After reading your comments I watched again, and I could see some of what you were aiming for, the dream part. But it mostly comes through from Jensen's pov for me. (and I am a Sammy girl but love both, so go figure, lol. I am fine with Wincest stuff too :-) I didn't feel a message from Jared to Jensen come through, beyond Jensen's take on it. Does that make sense? Just wanted to share my impression of it. I know, it coming through to me other than you intended might be a disappointment? But everyone interprets things differently.
I really think it is a cool vid! Thanks for sharing :-D

Hm, pretty interesting way of watching vids. Usually I try to read the notes first, especially if this is AU vid, or something like this.

Well, I gotta say it was more like a Jared POV lol But there was a lot of Jensen too.

I kinda didn't get your poinion about the message from Jared though *roll eyes* Everyone really does interprete the idea differently, and it's interesting for me as for the author, So it'd be cool if you can explain to me what you meant with the "message" thing :)

You are probably right--I miss out of the artist's intentions when I don't read the comments first. I will re-think it. It's something I just started experimenting with(g) esp an AU vid, like you said.
The message thing, I was referring to your comments:

*phew* Finally!!! I can watch this video properly!!!!! Squeeee! Seriously took me ages to download it, my net sucks big time. Why they've decided to make adjustments on net cable today?! lol alright enough of complaint 'cause I'm freakin' happy now!!!!

This video made me feel mixed emotions in such a fast-paced way. I was awwing and laughing all the way through it. The bit with the 'touching me' at 1:11 made me go all warm and fuzzy inside and the eye-love moments (yeah they look to each other like that :P) gave me goofy smiles.... Love LOVE it!!! IMO you did an awesome job, it's impossible to make a J2 without the funny bits, so even though with the presence of this dork moments you succeeded to make believable this AU story. Besides this vid had the intention to be a funny story not a emotional one, right?! Well then you really did a great editing here.

The only thing that bugged me was that the video was a bit short. I was dying to see more moments between Jensen and Jared... I can't get enough of their faces. :P

Wow, I haven't watched a lot of RPS vids, but I never would have imagined one set to the song you chose and played for serious, not comedy. Even though the clips were often comic, the effect through song choice and editing felt deeper. I really enjoyed this, and found it very unique. Caught this on YT before I read your explanation, so I didn't get to see what it was about before just 'diving in.'
But I really enjoyed how you used the clips from the show mixed in with J2. To me, it seemed like they were perfect clips to keep them in the character of themselves--if that makes sense?

Клип в лапшу резать самое веселое дело :P И самое, по сути, простое. Потому что знаешь, как в той песенке было? "Если хочешь сделать клип, ты под музыку погромче намешай картинок венегред..." :P
Я вообще люблю с музыкой эксперементировать, хотя у меня есть "мой" стиль музыки, в котором я чувствую себя комфортно, и в котором люблю делать клипы)

I *heart* this video so hard. It's different, and fascinating, and I love the mix of Jared and Jensen and Sam and Dean as I believe the characters have an influence on th actors who play them and their relationship with or without their permission. As for whether the video conveyed the story flawlessly I don't think it needed to specifically, I like watching it with your story in the back of my mind and following it. But the things the video itself clearly expresses, the dream imagery, the struggle of Jared trying to deny what's happening between them and being irresistably pulled back in, well it's as irresistable as J2 itself. Also I loved the fast editing with this song and the theme. I think the speed, effects and mixture of clips intercut with each other really expressed the confusion as well as the continual progress of things he's trying to hold back but can't. The layers of the relationship. I continue to envy your editing skills. Anyway loved it. Thanks for the download link, I could watch this every day.
