This is one of my favorite pictures of Sammy smiling. ♥ I love him because he is a good and decent person. No matter what horrible things happened to him, he faced them with strength and courage. He always fought so hard to save as many people as possible, and he was never embarrassed to show his emotions.
Even when Ruby brainwashed him with demon blood he still believed he was using his abilities to help save people. At the end when he was possessed by Lucifer he found the strength to overtake him and choose his family over everything else.
I think Sammy is the heart of "Supernatural". The first 5 seasons were definitely his story arc and he passed the ultimate test with flying colors. He will always be my favorite character from SPN. <3
