Maybe it's the feeling that Jensen is very disconnected -- from himself, from the world around him. This too, yes. He's lost as a person and maybe that's where comes all his choices. Not always the right ones.
It takes the reality of blood, death, violence, to ground him, and I find that terrifying. Words out of my mouth. I mean, it IS real you know? It's like you can imagine that, because the fear of all that is real.
But I would not be surprised by a garish headline about serial killer murdered by lover/victim. Tha would be absolutely different story :)
