First, Maria is a Hebrew name, so I'm ot sure if Spain was the first place where it was used.
The effect with this text is pretty easy. When you make a new layer with text that you put above your video, you need to put the cursor on the left top side of this clip, cursor will change and then drag it, you'll see the blue line - it's the transition. Jst play with it, till you're satisfied. (haha that sounds....yeah...). Anyway. It's pretty easy, just try it out ;)
