Sam Winchester is one of the most tragic characters I have ever seen. He was sold to a demon by his mother and that set him on a path to hell that he really never had any hope of escaping....and all he ever really wanted to do was help people (or at least not hurt them).

I love that the darker he becomes the sexier he gets.

I love that he has some of the hottest sex scenes on television.

I love that sweet college boy we met in season one ended up being the bad boy.

I love that he looks like Jared Padalecki.

I think it's really amazing how much the character has changed, and this changes are all....justified? And really well portrayed.
