I love Sam because he's a GEEK, he loves his research and oh man, does he look great doing it:
Because he had the guts to stand up to his father and try to make a better life for himself, but moreover, because he had the guts to recognize that he might have been wrong; that maybe his rightful place was right next to his brother all along.
Because he LOVES Dean, would die for him, was willing to trade places with him in Hell in an instant, wants to do right by him even though he doesn't always make the right decisions.
Because he makes mistakes, and yeah, they're big ones - apocalyptic big - but he learns from them, and he tries to make them right. He takes responsibility, maybe not at first, but in the end he was able to overthrow LUCIFER, Heaven, Hell, his destiny - and he's stronger for it.
He's adorable, and awkward, and he has the most intense puppy eyes ever. Nobody can say no to that face, NOBODY.
He believes in people, saves people, can talk to anybody about anything and make them feel comfortable, even when they're grieving. He takes Dean's sarcasm and can also dish it right back out. He might not do everything right, but by god, he tries.
