Oh no, thank you for writing this. I've just finished re-reading it, after gushing about it on my LJ, and I'm still as delighted (which is such a strange adjective to use for reading horror, but good fic makes me delighted!) as I was after the first read. What I said on my LJ was this:
Good horror fanfic is hard to come by, so I'm always pleased when I find one which lives up to its genre. It's the love story of serial-killer!Jared and greatest-fan!Jensen... only it isn't quite a love story, if you know what I mean. You can tell that every word has been chosen with care by the writer, capturing mood and emotion and even psyche perfectly, and the entire fic is bleak and stifling and frantic in a way which hurts oh so good. I also loved how the writer exhibited such restraint - I've always felt that good horror is shown, not told: things left unsaid as you read between the spaces and lines. The writer made a few brave choices which would probably leave a few readers disgruntled, but I feel that said choices were wisely made and just perfect for the story. This is obviously not meant for the lovers of pure schmoopy goodness (which I always suspect is 95% of every 'ship fandom: see what I said a sentence ago about disgruntled readers), but do give it a go, even if you aren't a J2 fan - it's well worth the read.
So erm, yes. You can tell I really, really liked this. *g*
